Terms of Service

By accessing or using Rewindly ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. Rewindly is operated as a sole proprietorship based in Iowa, USA.

Rewindly is an AI-powered video analysis platform that allows users to upload video files or submit YouTube links and interact with the content conversationally through an AI assistant named Reel. The Service includes video transcription, summarization, key moment extraction, and chat capabilities.

You must create an account to use the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must provide accurate information and keep it up to date.

Rewindly offers the following subscription tiers:

• Spark (Free): 10 upload minutes per month, 5 YouTube deep analyses — no charge.
• Lens: $16/month — 90 upload minutes per month, unlimited YouTube links, overage at $0.25/min.
• Studio: $34/month — 300 upload minutes per month, unlimited YouTube links, overage at $0.18/min.

Overage credit packs are also available for purchase. All prices are in USD. Subscriptions are billed monthly in advance through our payment processor, Stripe.

Subscription plans, pricing, and included features are subject to change. We may introduce new tiers, adjust limits, or modify what is included in existing plans. If we make changes that affect your current paid plan, we will notify you at least 30 days in advance by email, and you may cancel before the changes take effect without penalty.

You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Upon cancellation, your subscription will remain active until the end of the current billing period. You will not be charged again after that date. Cancellation does not entitle you to a prorated refund for unused time in the current billing period.

If you are on the free Spark plan, you may delete your account at any time with no further obligation.

All subscription charges are non-refundable except where required by applicable law. We do not provide refunds for partial months or unused upload minutes.

If you believe you were charged in error, contact us at hello@rewindly.io within 14 days of the charge and we will investigate and resolve the issue promptly.

One-time overage credit pack purchases are non-refundable once any credits have been used. Unused credits from credit packs are forfeited upon account closure.

If you have a billing dispute, please contact us at hello@rewindly.io before initiating a chargeback with your card issuer. We are committed to resolving disputes fairly and will respond within 3 business days.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Iowa, USA. Any disputes that cannot be resolved informally shall be subject to binding arbitration in Iowa under the rules of the American Arbitration Association, except that either party may seek injunctive relief in a court of competent jurisdiction.

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Upload or analyze content that infringes third-party intellectual property rights
• Upload or analyze content that is illegal, abusive, or violates the rights of others
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or extract data from the Service in unauthorized ways
• Resell or redistribute access to the Service without written permission

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms without notice.

You retain ownership of any content you upload to the Service. By uploading content, you grant Rewindly a limited license to process and analyze that content solely to provide the Service to you.

Raw video files are deleted within 24 hours of processing. Analysis artifacts (transcripts, summaries, key moments) are stored and associated with your account until you delete them or close your account.

You represent that you have the right to upload and analyze any content you submit, including any necessary rights to third-party video content.

Early Access Promotion — First 50 Waitlist Members: The first 50 users who join the Rewindly waitlist will receive one free month of the Lens plan ($16 value) upon launch. This offer is:

• Limited to the first 50 confirmed waitlist signups, determined by timestamp of registration
• Applied automatically to your account upon the public launch of the Service
• Non-transferable and has no cash value
• Void if your waitlist email address is not used to create your Rewindly account
• Subject to change or cancellation before launch at Rewindly's sole discretion

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Rewindly shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 3 months preceding the claim.

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or by a notice in the Service. Continued use of the Service after the effective date of any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
